American Hat Company uses Standard International sizing. This is measured by dividing the circumference of the customer's head in inches by pi. If you need help determining your hat size, please view our Hat Size Chart for instructions on how to measure your head.
Custom Hat Order Notes:
You may customize this hat with any of the available options below. This hat comes standard with the 3/8" self trim felt hat band and 3-piece buckle set shown. Other trim options and brim binding are available for an additional cost.
Sweatband selections include Leather or Dri-Lex®. Leather sweatbands can be custom imprinted with the name of your choice for an addtional $10.00 with a one (1) line, fifteen (15) character maximum. The name is preceded on the band with "Especially Made For".
Crown & Brim Restrictions:
6" is the standard open crown height prior to shaping. You may select from a 5 1/2", 6", 6 1/2" or 7" crown height. Please note that the various crown shapes will reduce the finished crown height, and is dependent upon your selection.
- CB - Cowboy Crown - 4" CB brim only
- L - Stockman Crown - 4" brim only
- All other crown shapes - 3" to 4 1/2" brim
- A size 8 hat will result in a 4" brim
